Pushing myself out of my comfort zone has been the best way to improve my skills in Motion Graphics, the Film Noir "Loose Ends" is the perfect example of this. Modernizing the characteristics of a classic Film Noir and implementing them in our Neo-Noir style, meant we'd thought to include modern aspects of film making, motion graphics. By breaking down the core themes and conventions of Noir we could draw parallels and pay homage to the classic films that we grew to love during research. This led to the idea of a neon sign flicking, a subtle message that draws tension in the first few seconds whilst also defining our genre.

Moving forward we hope to begin production on a finished film by the end of February, the prototype can be found on my website. To read more about the Noir and other productions I am working on, head over to my Film-making section.
